A Barn Wedding at the Farm Bakery & Events

Our Story:
“We had been friends for a few years but we were both too shy to make the first move. Our friends would always try to push us together, but it wasn’t until we felt comfortable as friends that Scott finally asked me out. He planned our first date based on what he had overheard me talking about with friends and I was really touched by how attentive he was. The first date was amazing! We shut the restaurant down and actually carried our plates to the kitchen because our waiter had left and we felt bad for overstaying. After that we got together every weekend, and then before we knew it, we were together every day. Being with Scott was so easy and fun and it wasn’t long before we knew we wanted to be with each other forever. Scott proposed with an engagement ring he designed himself on a snowy hike in March. We started looking at wedding venues and decided on The Farm Bakery in Quakertown. We got married October 21, which happened to be Scotts 30th birthday and his parents’ 40th wedding anniversary. It was wonderful to celebrate so much with our families and friends.” – Sarah & Scott
