Ghost Tours of New Hope, Friday and Saturday nights in October, plus Halloween

Explore New Hope by lantern light and hear true tales of local hauntings. You’ll walk about a mile during this one hour tour, so dress warmly and wear comfortable shoes. Reservations aren’t required, but come early to save your spot as tours often fill up during October.

Halloween Themed Tea or Brunch, Various dates in October

The Talking Teacup, a full service tea room in Chalfont, is hosting eight Halloween inspired events to get you in the spooky spirit. From “Poe me a Cup of Tea” to “Wicked Brunch” and “Potions and Plates Luncheon,” The Talking Teacup pairs bewitching themed menus with a Halloween twist for a delicious and unforgettable experience. Reservations required. Guests must be at least ten years old.

Sleepy Hollow Haunted Acres, Friday-Sunday nights in October

Sleepy Hollow Haunted Acres in Newtown is one of the best haunted attractions in the Philadelphia area. Are you brave enough to survive a hayride through the dark woods, a haunted manor, and an abandoned village? Afterwards, enjoy live music by the bonfire. Valley of Fear, various nights in October

America’s most horrifying woods, located in Feasterville, features three heart-pounding attractions. This year’s thrills include a hayride, an evil manor, and a haunted pirate adventure. After 34 years of scares, Valley of Fear is one of Bucks County’s most terrifying Halloween destinations.

Family-Friendly Treats

The Count's Halloween Spooktacular, September 14-November 3

Every fall, The Count transforms Sesame Place Philadelphia into a world of Halloween family fun. Guests are encouraged to dress up and enter the costume contest. In addition to all standard attractions, kids can go trick-or-treating, take photos with their favorite characters as they show off their own costumes, enjoy Halloween performances and parades, decorate pumpkins, and listen to silly Halloween stories.

Boo at Bolton: Food Truck Fest & Trick-or-Treat, October 19

Come in costume to the historic Bolton Mansion for a Halloween extravaganza featuring trick-or-treating, moon bounces, pony rides, crafts, vendors, food trucks, and so much more. There will also be fun, kid-friendly "ghost tours" of the mansion, plus a beer and cocktail garden for adults. Advanced tickets are required.

Slightly Batty Halloween Wing-Ding, October 26

Get dressed up and come out to Peddler’s Village for a family-friendly, kid-focused Halloween bash and costume contest featuring a dance party, games, crafts, and refreshments. Advanced tickets are required for the Slightly Batty Halloween Wing-Ding.

Halloween Happening, October 26

Northampton Township Parks and Recreation is hosting its 48th Halloween costume parade and contest, with prizes awarded by age group. Before and after the parade, enjoy entertainment and activities for the whole family. Pre-registration for this free event is encouraged but not required. The first 300 kids receive a goodie bag.
