Pearl S. Buck House & Historic Site

Events for up to 350. Your guests will look out onto our magnificent rolling hills, blue sky, tranquil ponds, and glorious perennial gardens. Nestled among the gardens, the Garden Tent serves as the perfect location for weddings, picnics, family reunions, or corporate picnics and retreats. The estate’s original 1827 red Pennsylvania barn serves as an excellent venue suitable for personal or business functions. The barn features unique architecture, stage with a fireplace, and cozy arched private seating area. The conference room has two walls of windows looking out into the beautiful forests on our grounds.

This 1825 Pennsylvania stone farmhouse is a National Historic Landmark that tells the story of Nobel and Pulitzer Prize winning author Pearl Buck.
