Moravian Pottery & Tile Works

A National Historic Landmark, maintained as a "working history" museum. Handmade tiles are still produced in a manner similar to that developed by the pottery's founder and builder, Henry Chapman Mercer (1856-1930). You can purchase handmade reissues of tiles and mosaics made in the American Arts & Crafts tradition from us. Come visit and tour our historic museum. Tours are offered every half-hour and consist of a brief video followed by a self-guided walk through the facility. Visitors will see original installations, various displays, and selected aspects of current tile production. Admission fees and operating hours are subject to change.

Days & Hours of Operation:  Open Daily 10am - 4:45pm, closed selected holidays.
